North Star Supports Habitat for Humanity

North Star has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of national partnership between General Growth Properties, North Star and Habitat for Humanity International. Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio. Saks Fifth Avenue is pleased to have Loren Devanney Odell working with them as a personal shopper. Loren offers men and women personal wardrobe consultation in the store, in a client's home, or at a client's office to make sure they are looking their best.

Loren sits down with each of her clients to discuss lifestyle, budget, likes, dislikes, special events coming up, etc. Based on the information learned, Loren will point the client in the right direction and build a wardrobe based on the clients individual needs.

North Star Mall Proudly Donates to Habitat Home Store

North Star Mall is proud to donate to Habitat Home Store to benefit our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. When possible, construction materials are diverted from the landfill and donated for sale. Funds raised are used to build homes and help eliminate poverty housing in our communities. This program is a part of a national partnership between Habitat for Humanity and General Growth Properties.

AMBER Alert Notifications Uniting America to Protect All Children

The first few hours are the most important when it comes to finding missing children. When there is an active AMBER Alert in the community, signage will be placed in the mall in high traffic locations. Thousands of shoppers will have access to the information, giving tremendous advantage to law enforcement working against the clock to reunite these children with their families.
